For this season opening concert, the Maîtrise invites students from the Paris Conservatory and theFrench Army Choir to resonate two monuments of sacred music. Gabriel Fauré's famous Requiem, very gentle where beauty and serenity reign soothing, will be answered by the monumental Symphony of Psalms by Igor Stravinsky, one of the peaks of his neoclassical period which manifests without magnitude a magnificence in a skillfully crafted speech. An event not to be missed!
